Have issues with making an appointment and when something happens in office where they should cancel your appointment they let you come in instead of calling to let you know they can’t see you and they make appointments where they then don’t have any appointment scheduled for you when you come in.Very unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible. Been here for a few years and it hasn't gotten better. They've made appointments for us telling us the day we have it written down. We show up then they say oh it's tomorrow. They kept calling my daughter a boy because she has shorter hair even after we kept correcting them. We show up 15 mins early and sit in the waiting room for up to 2 hours. We found a new dentist finally.

I don't know the name of the dentist that saw me but I have never seen such an irresponsible medical professional. I have 2 very bad teeth and one small cavity. He wouldn't even fill the small cavity. He said the other two would need pulled, very uncaring. I was devastated and terrified. He just referred me to 2 other dentists that didn't even take my insurance. Completely washed his hands of me. He won't take my insurance at his main office, but will only see you at this location. Apparently he feels that he's too good for people that don't have expensive dental insurance. I guess we are all beneath him. I am truly sickened by this man. Obviously just in it for the money. Sent me off fully aware of the consequences of not being treated. Not his problem, he couldn't care less. He should lose his license.

Honestly, I went in here expecting to have a terrible time because of the reviews. I did not get good news, but that is mostly because of what my insurance would cover. Overall, I was in the office for a little over an hour, including the wait time. The dentist came back and took a look, said my insurance didn't cover root canals so I would need extractions. I got a little argumentative about that and he got a little taken back. But we worked through it, and I am happy with the care I received. They referred me to Meadville for extractions, but are going to do the fillings here. He said I need a lot of dental work, but not to the point where I need to lose all of my teeth. It's unfortunate my dental insurance doesn't cover those procedures, I honestly thought it had, or I would have looked into other dental insurance options--like an add-on or something. Now, I have to wait a little longer to get the dental work for the teeth that were specifically bothering me, since I want to try to save them. The dentist recommended getting them out as quickly as I could, but I am going to have to look into financing options, etc.

I had a very frustrating experience with John Horan Gardens Dental Office. I waited a long time for my appointment, only to have it rescheduled multiple times—this was the fourth or fifth time it happened. It felt like a huge waste of time, and I can't recommend this office to others. It's just not worth the hassle or the wait.
